Davis Falls - Second in Height, First in Fun :)
DESCRIPTION:
Whether you're visiting Belize for the first time or you have been living here all your life, Davis Falls is one of those places that is a must see. Viewing it from the distance can leave you in Awe and its waters are both some of the most refreshing and clean in the world.

Second only to Thousand-Foot Falls, Davis falls is the second largest waterfall in Belize with a height of around 500 ft (120 meters). Davis Falls is located near Alta Vista Village in southern Belize and is one of the most beautiful natural attractions in the country. Davis Falls is located deep in the rainforest of southern Belize making it a great place to experience the natural beauty of Belize.

On this Adventure, Similar to our day adventure, we offer a tractor ride on a custom built trailer through some of Belize's Orange Orchards and rainforest. Along the way you will cross several rivers and streams and see a variety of vegetation and wildlife. After an hour and a half tractor ride, you will arrive at our property known as Misty Vale which will serve as our camp site. From there we begin a arduous one mile hike through the rainforest before you arrive at Davis Falls. After enjoying the Davis fall we return to the camp site and begin camp activities.

On day 2 we head back in the morning and upon reaching Cow Creek we begin tubing down the North Stann Creek River and finish at Falls Creek. From there we head back to Awe and Sons.

What you can expect
Tractor Ride
Tractor ride through an extremely rough 8-mile dirt road, before you set out on the arduous hike.
​
While on the tractor you will pass through several rivers and streams and learn a little about the area.
Hike
After the tractor ride you will enjoy a 30 minute hike through the rain forest before finally reaching the waterfall.
​
Depending on the weather and if you are looking for a more challenging route, we can also hike through the river going against the current to reach the water fall.
Enjoy the fall
You get to chose between swim in the cool and refreshing waters of the water fall or relax on the rocks enjoying the magnificent view of the waterfall, or you can do both as you engrave the wonderful scenery into your minds and hearts.
Camping at Misty Vale
Enjoy the quiet of the night in the jungle and gaze upon the stars. A roasted marshmallow or two wont hurt.
